Julia is a seasoned litigator and trial attorney. Prior to joining Fiedler Deutsch, Julia represented a variety of professionals, medical institutions, and insurance carriers facing medical malpractice, complex tort, products liability, and general liability claims at several well-known civil defense firms based in Westchester and Manhattan. Through her work with these firms, Julia argued on behalf of her clients before courts throughout New York and Connecticut. She routinely conducted depositions, participated in settlement conferences, and prepared motions to aggressively defend her clients through every stage of litigation.

Julia began her career in the New York County District Attorney’s Office, where she tried numerous cases to verdict and negotiated pleas on hundreds of cases. Julia prosecuted homicides as well as felony assault, identity theft, narcotics, robbery, and weapons possession cases from arrest to sentencing, but found she had the greatest impact on individual lives through her work with victims in the Sex Crimes, Child Abuse, and Domestic Violence Units.

Julia is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. She earned her law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a member of the Fordham Environmental Law Review, and her undergraduate degree from Sarah Lawrence College.

Julia currently lives in Ridgefield, Connecticut with her husband and two sons and seems to spend most of her free time on the sidelines of a lacrosse field, football field, or basketball court.
